    Computer Connection

    Good Day,

I picked up a Polaroid Tablet today at Big Lots. (It has the 4.0 system on it)
This is my first venture into the world of Android.
So far I really like it but i have two problems I need assistance with.

    1. After a couple of times of it going to sleep mode, it disconnects from WiFi and will not reacquire the signal unless it reboots.

    2. My little Dell laptop only recognizes it as a mass storage device. I've tried to make it "Autoplay" to no avail and have tried it in different USB ports, but the laptop does not show anything being in the device.
It will show properties, but it's all full.

Can anybody out there help me with this?

    Thanks in advance.

I have had this happen with the wifi and usually all I need to do is go into settings and look at the wifi list and it connects upjust fine. If that doesnt work then turning the wifi off and on almost always works, though usually only from settings, the home screen widget doesnt usually work.

What OS are you running on your laptop? sounds like it is seeing it, at least to some extent. It should show up as a mass storage device. Sounds like for some reason it is not finishing installing drivers. I know on my Windows 7 it almost always wants me to "fix the drive" which after a bad experiance with a camera a few years back I never do
