PMID701c vs PMID701i display

I have a PMID701i (un-molested) and I have not seen a PMID701c but I can say mine looks a little off white but if I turn the brightness up it looks white.. I think the preset on the dimmer is about right for good color balance and viewing (thats my opinion based in part on my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (got to get my moneys worth out of that degree some how)

I am not noticing the bluring during scroling, no clue on the screen capture..

I have been thinking it would be better to down grade a 701i so it would run smoother but based on my first day with the 701i running ICS I am in no hurry to change things.. I want to de bloat and there are a few apps its good to have that need root but this thing looks like a good deal out of the box..

Just a thought...I've heard a few people comment that the battery life is better on the 701i compared to the 701c. Is the darker display a possible reason for this?

Would they "dial down" the display's max achievable brightness via ICS to conserve battery life?

Hello!

On the 701c, the display, at full brightness, accounts for about roughly 2/3 of the battery drain. My battery life improved considerably by turning the display brightness in Settings.
