MK809III, From R-box (no root) to a finless 1.7/1.8 version?

My name is Francesco.
I've just buy a MK809 III where is installed a R-box rom not rooted.
I would rather change the standard rom with a rooted rom.
I've seen that there are finlness roms that sounds good , but I I'm asking you for better versions betweem 1.7/1.8.
Then please suggest me a good guide in order to flash device, I've seen a lot of guides but all differents.
