      I see your MK908II and raise you a CX919.

      Let the bidding begin!

Really though, saying something without saying why is if not completely useless at least very close.

Mk908ii has better cooling, comes with a 1080p rom and it has better support

Better cooling? How do you judge that? Mine is not hot to the touch when cpu is limited to 1200-1600 MHZ, memory runs at spec (1333MHz, 667 x 2) and GPU is locked att 400-600MHz. After watching a two hour movie (720p) it is not even hot to the touch. I think it is mostly down to the fact that not all devices are created equal. Some are hotter then other, even within the same model.

I mean obviously, there is room for improvement, but it seems to do what it was intended to do, even a little bit more (OC). I am a happy camper.

My kernels, which has excellent support (i.e. me) has 1080p working pretty much flawlessly.
It is possible to get both WIFI and BT running with minimal fuzz (I know now how to do it, did not know two weeks ago). I'd say support is pretty darn good for CX919. Hey, even Bob thinks it is a good stick, he has made an excellent rom for it too. At one time he hinted it might be the best, maybe still so?

So basically, I call your bluff!

Enough with the poker terms though. When it comes down to it, it is basically the same stick, aestethics aside.

So in short you say the cx-919 is better?'

I would need both sticks to actually compare them. I am happy with mine. I am not sure I'd even get the same revision if I ordered a new one. A new revision can break everything unfortunately.

They are pretty cheap though. Buy both and review them! Post your results here!

              My experiences are these:
Buy a stick with external antenna.
Buy a stick for which you can compile a kernel with working WiFi and BT.
Buy a stick that has some roms made for it.

              My CX919 fulfills those requirements.

Mk908ii has ventilation holes and two heatsinks, also it has a stock 1080p kernel downscaled to 720p which means that the ui doesn't lag at all and when you watch a 1080p movie, it displays 1080p. As for Bob's opinion you can check his mk908ii thread https://www.freaktab.com/showthread....for-the-better!

Let's hope you get the same revision that I have then! Finless roms work nice on that revision. BTW, I ordered mine from Geekbuying, you could always ask them what revision they are at now. I haven't opened mine though, so I can't be sure. Bob probably knows best, at least which revision his are actually tested on.

Yes it has ventilation holes. Mine has no holes, or heat sinks actually if you don't count a flimsy metal strip. Still it does what it is supposed to and does not get hot.

Stock or not stock 1080p. What is the difference?

He does say it has the best video playback. I'm guessing he means stock. My stick plays whatever I throw at it perfectly. Granted, I know some of it's limits so I don't throw 70Mbit 1080p content at it. Pretty sure our sticks handle video about the same.

If you by support mean that the company that made your stock still releases firmwares for it then it does seem like the better stick. I can probably use those firmwares with my kernels though.

It comes down to ventilation holes and heatsinks basically. Can you say more?
