M9Pro 3g In-car charging. Succesful?

Anyone managed to get this working OK?
I have one of those 2.1amp USB chargers and the applicable USB-Barrel cable but despite showing that it's charging, it actually doesn't.

Anyone had it charging correctly? I want to use Google Navigation and GPS in-car but obviously the battery will last about 5 minutes without it.

I bought two 2.1A (as seller says) power adapters from China, and was very disappointed after load capability testing. Both barely deliver 0.8-0.9A...

There is a difference between a charger and a power supply!
Chargers are not "switching" power supplies. You need a actual linear charger.
Also remember they must be 5V output for the M9

I bought a charger for my m6 pro but it did not work after looking at it it was only 5v and the m6 has a 9v power input so i have ordered a 9v one and i will see when i get it whether it is of any use. I will post the results after testing. I use google navigation and it lasts for about 3 hours on a 3/4 charged tablet. Not enough to go from Newcastle to London.
BUt when it's working with my sim card in it's great and very accurate.
