[HELP] can't sign in to google account

today i recieved my mk808b and i have three question regarding both hardware and software:
1.i saw this post

and by comparing my unit to the pictures it seems i have the "original" but my PCB color is blue?
is it another model or the same one just painted blue?
2.for some reason i can't acomplish any task that is related to google stuff i.e.:
i connected to my wi-fi and checked if i can browse the web which i can!
but i can't sign in to my google account cause it says that it can't communicate with the server!
also the youtube APP says that i have no internet connection.
and because i can't add my google accound i can't go into google play.
3.if ill flash finless rom whuch one should i flash (cause my PCB is blue and i don't know for sure what model i have but when comparing the components they are exactly the same)
and will finless rom solve my problem with the google account?

Try this, I had similar problem and it fixed it..Go to settings. Check to see if you have the correct time and zone set up for your location. Correct it if it is wrong. You may have to aso clear cache and data for play store and sign back in. As for your version of stick...sorry can't help there.
Its just so messed up these days with all the different ones.Maybe you could post some pics? Good luck.

i was able to get into google play by fixing my time zone and date!
to help you identify what model i have here is some info:
i bought it here:

android version is 4.2.2 ROOTED!

on the first picture next to the google TV logo there is a sticker that says "2 CPU 4 GPU RK3066"

thank you but my main problem right now is that i don't know if my mk808b is the "original" one cause in the pictures the PCB is green but when i opened up my mk808b i found out that the PCB is blue!

Glad you got the playstore going. He is right about backing up your rom. You should get that done first. Then you can test roms. But, as for the pics..The point is to get close up so numbers and letters can be seen on the chips. Hopefully, someone may be able to help out then. You might want to search the forum for pics of the sticks. Wish I could help further. Again, good luck.

i downloaded finless 2.1 and in the instructions it says to connect the stick to my pc?!
should i just get a usb cable from the OTG to my computer OR
plug in the provided OTG cable and than connect a double sided USB cable?

it also says to turn on USB storage which i can't find.
the only thing i found in the usb settings is "connect to PC" option - should i tick it?

Use the cable that came with your stick. Plug it into otg..not power. Make sure you follow the directions. Are the drivers installed?
