PCB CH001 B351_V2.0 firmware stock firmware??

    Dear All,

I'm newbie working with these devices, so please excuse my ignorance.

Can anyone help me to obtain the stock firmware for the Android TV box with PCB board CH001 B351_V2.0?? It is a RK3188 board, but fairly new. I thought I made a back-up of the firmware using rkflashtool, but I must have done something wrong, because I cannot recover anymore using my backup images. Tried all sorts of firmwares which are available (MK888b, K-R42, some custom firmwares). The closest of a working firmware for my device is the T-R42 stock firmware from geekbuying.com, but neither wifi or ethernet works.

    So basically... I bricked it....

    Can anyone help ?!

    Thank you in advance.

    Kind regards,

    WizzyWizz

Ahaaa.. Finaly a companion to my misery! :-) I have exactly the same PCB.

Nobody has the firmware for this particular PCB ? Have you tried asking GeekBuying for the firmware? Perhaps they can help you? I see that GeekBuying has the firmware for the K-R42, but this one doesn't work with this PCB I guess:

            Hi!

It didn't work for me. Get black screen. Probably because I have this PCB with bluetooth. Probably different enough to not work..... Although our PCB's are the same version and date. Thanks anyway!

                Hi,
Same problem for me with same pcb (B351 v2.0). Factory ENY Technology Co Ldt.
But I can see something strange on your photo.
My wifi cable is not connectec at the same connector, and I have another cable connected to a connector on pcb I cannot see on your picture. Look at mine, you will see what I can see.

I tried T-R42 and K-R42 firmware but same pb.
                Still searching...

I have a T-R42 and the same pcb, see the attached image. The Bluetooth and Wifi wires
are soldered in exact the same way as on your board it seems.

                    Not exactly, they are reversed.

I think my cables are not correctly wired. I understand now why my wifi signal was bad...

My problem is now to find the right firmware to make my tv box running again. I tested several without success. Some are loading, but wifi not working. Others do not load at all.

What is your firmware version ?

Ah, you're right. Did't see that. I've no idea as what the original firmware was, since I flashed the box with the (wrong) stock firmware, see: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...-bluetooth-lan

                      Didn't know i had a rev 2.0 then...

Ok, I see that we did the same mistake.

If I find something interesting, I will post here my results.

                        Good luck in your quest

I tried this one sent by my vendor : http://pan.baidu.com/s/1EFQvX
It loads, but no wifi. Maybe it can fit to your box. Tell me if it works...
