Teclast A15 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) 4.0.3 - any good for 9G2?

I was surfing around and came across this thread at slaredroid.com http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/3249...dwich-ics-403/

I've had a quick look at this tablet (http://www.teclast.com/zhuanti/a15/) and the specs don't seem 100 miles away from the 9G2 (it's all in Chinese so there's some guesswork here but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't share the same chipset - it's rockchip 2918 based tablet with 9 inch IPS screen)

I'm wondering of there's any value in grabbing the img file (there's a link in the thread) and doing some reverse engineering (if that's at all possible). It would be great to have ICS on an Arnova tablet - I'm pretty sure Arnova themselves won't be doing this for us. The nearest thing we seem to have is MorkaMod ROMs (http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/...l-discussions/) which are pretty but not very stable (yet)
