T428 other roms that work

To all of you that are in search for a stable rom for your T428 i instal the http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...inless-1-7-ROM
and it's working great.
Just to say that i only installed the kernel 720 but oc in the minimum values and it gets hot but working like charm.

Just my 2 cents.

Yes. All X7 ROMs are also compatible with the T428 (both devices have the same WiFi/BT chipset).

Don't believe to be oc just to work better but indeed I never saw it installing Xbmc so fast like with this rom and kernel oc to CPU 1,7 gpu 798 and ram 667 if I remember well
but it gets hot I have to search for old fans best regards all

To all that are trying to use this X7 rom be aware of heat.
I hat to put the stock kernel because the t428 went down on using XBMC and i was only installing things on it ok.

I am running "Just XBMC" rom for the X7 with Whufclee's 3.2 XBMC custom Build.... Seems to be fine... Little warm but working fine so far.

For those who have not tried it, go to unitytalk for it... saves SO MUCH HASSLE installing plugings and doing configs.... just install 12.2 XBMC, Launch it once and exit... then just copy the 2 folders into SDCard\Android\Data\org.xbmc.xbmc\files\.xbmc using a File explorer, overwrite if asked.

PS: Make a back up of your XBMC first if you are worried, but I done mine after a clean rom install

I have looked for 'Whufclee's 3.2 ..' but also don't see anything about that either.
Apparently he was band user on XBMC4XBOX - (Hope I am on the wrong path here...)
Could you be a little more specific or even better post a link to the files for us.

Hi all I have to say that I'm very pleased to use my t428 with x7 rom by finless. I haven't updated to version 1.8 but I will try that one soon but so far I'm using in full scale.
i want also to try the new xbmc made exclusively for x7 devices to se how it works.
in the next few I'm also planning to mod my T428 to help the heat problems.

Copy Addons & userdata (DELETE THE OLD ONES FIRST, I found if your overwrite them some files are missed)
