    In my 1.7 ROM is a folder for 720 kernel and boot.
    Please flash ONLY the boot720no_air.img

    Do not flash any other parts so you wont erase data, etc.

    What this will do is for the next boot to be true 1080 screen (small icons, etc).
    I think sixaxis is not seeing the real resolution and crashing.

    Let me know please.

    Nope.... just test it.... again it looks like bluetooth is not working....

    Downloading the 1.8 to see how it goes...

    Thanks bob

      The logcat shows the pad did bind with BT manager. So I do not think that is it.

        Any news?
        I had no time to install the 1.8 rom, but I read that the BT still doesn't work.
        I'll wait to upgrade since I'm fairly good with this rom so far.

          Any solutions yet?

          I had the controller connected once with Sixaxis on the 1.8 ROM last night, But now I get "Touchscreen device created successfully".

            Hey Guys,

            I was looking around to see if anyone had figured out how to get either a PS3 or PS4 controller to work on the X5/X7 and found this thread.

            I've been using the QuickShot V2 Rom Kernels on my Minix Neo X7 and I have not needed to use any other ROM's from other ROM developers yet. Although I think there is a common issue between them for connecting PS3/PS4 Controllers to the SetTop Box to play games, etc... When I got my X7 with the Stock 008 Rom with XBMC for Minix I was able to attach my PS3 controller via BT with no problems and without having to purchase a 3rd party app?

            Performance sucked with the Stock Rom and XBMC for the Minix Neo X7. So I decided to pick one of the ROM Developers to start my testing and it just happened to be with QuickShot V2. Although I don't believe this is totally a ROM issue as I've gathered from your thread posts. The reason I say this is because of the following;

            - The Nitro Team while modifying Minix's version of XBMC removed a number of APPS that come pre-installed with the Minix Version of XBMC as well as the Stock 008 ROM. When they did this they created two Zip files that included the apps they removed from the X7 (Minix_apps.zip - All the Minix X7 Apps as well as a RockChip_Apps.zip).

            The one I think you should look at if you have not done so already (and please just ignore this post if you have), is the "RockChip_apps.zip". Minix had bundled a number of apps for the RK Chip set which include an APK for setting up RKGameControlSettings. I haven't had a chance to reload them onto my X7 since I just starting investigating this tonight. And I wanted to let you know in case these files have the answer to what your looking for!

            RockChip_Apps.Zip (Located in the QuickShot V2 Installation Thread) has the following files;

            eHomeMediaCenter_box.apk
            Music.apk
            MusicFX.apk
            RkApkinstaller.apk - May or may not apply or be needed?
            RKBasicSettings.apk - May or may not apply or be needed?
            RkExplorer.apk

            RKGameControlSettingsV1.01.apk - For Setting up Controllers? This is the one I used to config my buttons on my PS3 Controller. But I don't know what dependencies "if any" this has. It may require the RKBasicSettings.Apk and/or the RKSettings.apk

            RKSettings.apk - May or may not apply or be needed?
            RKVideoPlayer.apk
            WiFiDisplay.apk

            Anyway, I wanted to toss this out there for you to look at. I know you can download the ZIP file from the forum if you want to look at these .apk's and see if they are the answer to the problem. I have a sneaky suspicion that they do

            As soon as I have time to test my theory, I'll load these .apk's and see if I can get my PS3 Controller to work again! If anything, it at least gives ya something else to look at if you have not already...

            I hope you don't mind my jumping in and throwing out my two cents worth I'm no expert by a long shot, but have a long history of working with other OS's while I was a computer geek for the Fed Govt. Now I'm retired and look forward to playing my games and watching Movies on my Minix settop box's. I have two X5 Mini's and one X7 as well as a generic third party Android device.

            I've also had lots of experience installing XBMC on Windows and IOS. Other then that, my only experience with the Android OS has been with my Droid X that I've had and still use since they came out years ago
