    So frustrated with Pipo M9 Max 3G tablet...

    I hit an issue with my tablet (Pipo M9 Max 3G);

    I purchased this tablet on 06th July 2013 from an **** retailer who stocked Pipo tablets. I must admit I paid a lot. (£250 - $417USD)

    The issues are;
    · Power Socket and USB Socket are intermittent; this means it has issues charging (as well as ROM updates!).
    · The plastic at the back (sides) has come lose from the glue. This happened 1 month into ownership.

    As ever, the **** seller is refusing to honour any warranty and states it’s with the manufacturer which is why I have contacted Pipo. I couldn't fault Anna Ye and the customer service has been great. i was all set to send back to Pipo to fix but hit a catch today...

    Royal Mail (and Parcelforce) said I couldn't send it back to China. the lithium battery can't be posted. The lady at the post office said they they can send tablets out from China but not send them back!

    They printed out the prohibitions and it states for China (China_par v1.0) "Lithium batteries are prohibited, regardless of whether they are installed in/connected to equipment"

    Also - was looking at the import duty and VAT and looked like I'd be hit sending it into China as well as receiving it back from China.

    I'm now looking around at local repair shops. I reckon the back just needs a bit of glue and the power socket a bit of solder.

    Just thought it would be a warning to others thinking on buying from China - especially if things go wrong.

    Im no expert but I do no a little, Your contract is with the seller not the manufacturer its up to the seller to sort this out ie a refund or have the item fixed for you (Under the Sale of Goods Act, the retailer must either repair or replace faulty goods 'within a reasonable time but without causing significant inconvenience')

      Difficult to get it fixed if they don't answer e-mail....

      Paypal and **** have been next to useless too and noticed they had a 3 month warranty on their item - which I should have noticed when I ordered.

      I managed to get the back off - so can glue it down with some plastic adhesive.

      I will get the front off and see about accessing the power socket and see if I can crimp it to get a constant charging.

        Rubbish I've sent a phon back and those had lithium cells, just inform them so a lithium sticker can be put onto it.

        As for back, I noticed that myself. Other faults are dirt under the screen, graphics corruption
