    T-R42 & SKYPE & LOGITECH C270

    Hello,
    i recently bought the T-R42 and the webcam Logitech C270

    I installed the latest version of Skype, and set up the auto accept of the calls

    I see a random behaviour: the video call sometimes works,
    sometimes seems skype crashes (and is shown on the lower right corner 'skype not connected')

    I dont know why...
    anyone knows on what this depends?...
    perhaps latest version of skype is not fully compatible with the T-R42?

    i read somewhere that previous version (skype 3.2) was working better... is it true?

    Any suggestion?

    Thanks!!

      Hi,

      I don't have the same hardware as yours but:

      - I own the same webcam;
      - I had (and I still have) some problems with skype and video calls.

      My advices are:

      - uninstall your current version of skype;
      - try to use an old and modded version of skype (I'm using skype-mod v16, link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...stcount=2223);
      - try to unplug and then replug the usb webcam before starting skype.

      Have fun and good luck!

      Ciao,

      Nicola

        Ok thanks,
        as i explained in other thread, the C270 works fine (mic,camera, sound, video quality ...all is fine) when skype is able to open the window for the video call...
        many times instead skype tries to open the window, then crashes and exit...this is my problem

        i have not yet tried the modded versions (an other user of this forum also suggested me to try another modded version), but i will try soon...

        Thank you!

        Ciao
        Lodovico
