MK908II -Flashing v1.5 problem

Hello - first time posting under this name. Lost my previous details - I used the site before for the excellent Finless ROM for my Visture V10 tablet.

I bought an Tronsmart MK908II TV stick. Finding there was a Finless ROM available, I have tried to flash it and messed it up. Following the flash, the blue power light comes on, but no sign of life at all on the TV (was fine before flashing). Have tried another (known working) mini HDMI cable and no joy.

I have probably been quite stupid and think my problem may be related to

(a) Not checking exact version of my TV stick - if it helps it is this one http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Exten...876710337.html

(b) I accidently missed out the "erase" step of guide before flashing. From the "Read me" I reaslise this is a problem!

I have since tried the erase step (where you wait for the count to increment to 2048) but it completes almost instantly and says "complete "0" out of "6") - i.e. I don't think it is erasing

I am hoping I have only "soft" bricked it and that somebody here may be able to offer some advice on how to recover (if that is possible)

If I can supply any more information of course i'm happy to if someone can point me in the right direction

Will do some better research before trying again.....but all OK for now

EDIT2: I really am an idiot and had tried to flash the wrong ROM (908). Now have the Finless 908II ROM installed and it's great - Thank you for your efforts.

hi, glad you figured it out and it's working. what rom are you using on your 908ii? I recently got one but have not had the chance yet to flash a custom rom. im thinking of trying finless 1.4a in the days ahead.
