Okay, I'm trying to execute ADB pull /proc/config.gz from my Samsung Nexus S 4g so I can look at the .config file for use in trying to compile a new kernel for our beautiful little tablets. It goes through the motions but the file is nowhere on my computer. I've tried pulling other files from both my 701c and my Nexus S and I get the same results. Am I missing something here? Is my ADB setup fubar?

Did you try changing the permissions on config.gz with root explorer? By default config.gz is read only.Originally posted by droblesa View Post -
Why not also just try using a root file explorer and copy the file to SD card and then to the PC or Linux?
