ut1 freeze and reboots randomly when playing video

Just got my ut1 after waiting a month for deals prime just to drop my order in the mail plus the regular delivery time.

Yesterday I was happy I had finally received the device. However when I tried to use it it constantly and randomly freezes and reboots when I play video from any source. Streamed through xmbc, played off the local storage using various players, youtube, netflix all = freeze and reboot anywhere from 1min to 30mins later.

Pretty dissapointing all in all.

Anyone else getting this problem with the stock firmware?

Which version of xbmc are you using?
xbmc has a lot of issues since hardware decoding is stil in the development stages (alpha releases)

This is the version i am using in combination with mx player.

It runs very smooth. try the XAF Custom Build for NEON Set Top Boxes but install mx player first and set settings in mx player to h/w+ decoding.

After changing the firmware to rileyrom1.1 the lockups are gone. I don't use xbmc a whole lot as i typically just stream from my sickbeard/sabnzbd box to other devices and it is overkill.
