    Help making a custom/mod rom for X7

    Hallo all,

I have been browsing and learning a lot here lately so just registered and making my first post.
Hopeing you dont mind it is a question

I have been trying to make a custom rom for the X7, actualy i like to modify an existing one first.
At the moment i am working on the 006C original stock Neo X7 firmware.
    Things i get to work so far are;
    - unpacking
    - mounting system.img on ubuntu
    - modifying the system.img
    - repack the rom
    - flash it succesfully

MiniX made a new firmware (007) wich has some sort of 1080p overlay wich makes it pretty slow on video.
I would like to patch/change two things on the 006C wich 007E has to start with:
    - remember the audio device settings after reboot, to prevent the A2 airmouse set as default audio output after each reboot.
    - Changing the mouse pointer speed defaults.
I hope someone can point me in the good direction on how to accomplish this.

I think i can manage the libmedia.so patch as it is documented, or are there things to know about that too?

Maybe in time a full custom rom is at reach but for now trying to learn the basics
Getting to know how it all works together and where things are located is is a challange!

    Thanks allot.

Everything you need to learn to do this is here:

    Bob
"Pzebacz im, bo nie wiedzą, co czynią"
"Прости им, они не ведают, что творят"
"Perdona loro perché non sanno quello che fanno"
"Vergib ihnen, denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun"
"Vergeef hen want ze weten niet wat ze doen"
"Pardonne-leur car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font"
"Perdónalos porque no saben que lo que hacen"
"Oprosti im, jer ne znaju što čine"
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

      Thanks Bob,
I did read that topic and most things i can do.

I was wondering if you know wich files are involved with remembering the Audio settings after a reboot.
so the a2 airmouse wil not get the audio output set as default each time the x7 reboots.

Are there any good debug apps you use to see what files are used and written to so i can search for it myself?

Still trying to figure that out
