Here's another way to add the Google Play market on this tablet:
eyeoncomputer's Super Script 5b worked fine on this for me. It added the Google market and a few other apps, and also turned off the phone apps to improve the battery life.
There's also a video tutorial (the 'Advanced Improvements' one) to walk you through the process. It was made for an Iview tablet, but the Poloroid is similar, just without a camera or HDMI port.
