I took a peek in the system of this ROM. The DEV added a bunch of Russian bloatware including that switch app. I tried booting it on my M7 Pro...and got a boot loop.

The reason it says 4.2.2 is because they are using the stock kernel...and didn't change the branding screen.

Why is that needed? I don't think that is necessary. The only time you flash the loader is if you brick...and have to reset the NAND chip.

If I said that it is because someone on the french forum was stuck to go back. So he ticked "loader" and he could go back without problem http://tablette-chinoise.net/pipo-m9...30.html#p44346
il faut faire un erase puis flasher en cochant la case loader en plus dans le finless too (erase first and thick loader when you flash the finless)

Just be careful when flashing the loader. Flashing it can cause problems that actually could brick your device.

I flashed this rom and it worked.
but now i want to go back to 4.2.2 and every rom i flashed gave me a red exclamationmark.
what should I do???

Hi i have the same problem with my m9 pro.I have upgraded from kasty to 4.4.2 and then i wanted to return to finless 1.5 but i havent seen that i must tick the loader and i have flashed the finless and now i am stuck at the green droid with the red sign and after a while it goes in a boot loop.I have tried all the key combinations but i cant put it in recovery mode.My windows 7 x64 only finds a m9 pro with a yellow sign and i dont know what drivers it needs.I have put them from finless and from rk batch tool 1.7 but it doesn`t accept them.Any help PLEASE?

Just flash with stock rom! After that you will be able to flash what you want.

The KitKat ROM uses a different loader.

In order to return to the Finless ROM, you MUST check the loader for that ROM.
