Nextbook Premium 7se model Next712mc serial YF091305943 not installing paid apps

As the title says, my brand new nextbook tablet running Android 4.1.1 will not install paid apps or Duke Nukem 3D, the free one on Google Play. Why? It comes up with can not install to usb storage or sd card. I plugged in a USB OTG cable, Which this supports out of the box, and a 4gb usb stick, and it still won't work. Not sure which amlogic chip is in it, but the box says AMLogic single core processor.
EDIT: I was also on the phone to google play asking them why, and have been emailing them updating them.

Already tried both, thanks anyway. BTW, this device is non-rooted, and have tried after doing a system reset.

Still can't get this to work, and google have told me that its most likely a device issue, and nextbook have told me that this tablet can't install apps to sdcard. WTF?
