    I have a question for MK808B?

    Hi everyone!

    I'm just new with everything and was wondering how I can get my original mk808b android jellybean 4.2.2 to play 1080p with no lag. Is that possible? I am kind of confused on what rom or to do to play 1080p videos without it frame skipping and freezing with MX Player. Also I want XBMC to play 1080p with no lag. I hope someone can help me.

    thanks!

    1. Flash this rom, it's the fastest at the moment - http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ALKMAN_Nov2013
    2. You can also install an overclocked kernel afterwards, only those with GPU 400 mhz works at the moment - http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...Released/page6
    3. Install MX Player 1.7.21 and enable H/W+ in settings or when playing a video. Also make sure to install the neon codec for MX Player.
    4. Change build.prop to
    ro.product.model=GT-I9300 and ro.product.manufacturer=Samsung
    from ro.product.model=mk808b and ro.product.manufacturer=Rockchip

    5. Install this XBMC - http://flumpster.lolcakes.com/androi...ETA2_Test1.apk

      So this will have my native device playing 1080p videos with no lag and xbmc too? How do I check the 400 GPU mhz requirement?

        Yes
        It's in the name of the kernel.

          I just flashed my device with finless bob 2.1 with 1080p. Do you think I can flash it to this?

            Yes
            If it doesn't work just flash back to Finless 2.1.
