    M9 Pro reboot using AnTuTu

    Hi!

I am having problems with Pipo M9 Pro while using AnTuTu. When it gets on the stage of "Testing CPU float performance" the tablet reboot by itself. I am not sure what it is but I would say it is kernel related. If anyone knows how to fix it, please let me know

Pipo M9 Pro WiFi reboot using AnTuTu Benchmark

    Hi leeomendes,

I also hope that this is kernel related because I have the same issue with my Pipo M9 Pro WiFi. I have detected this issue on ROMs:
    Finless 1.5 ROM
    Finless 1.4 ROM
    RileyROM 2.1 ROM
    RileyROM 2.0 ROM

but I didn't tested on stock ROM...

      it's everywhere. Any rooted/stock... :/

I think it's something with governors, but I don't really know about a custom kernel for M9 Pro 3G

I have the same issue. Tested with stock rom (october), then with updated stock rom to latest version (November), Finless 1.4 and Finless 1.5. Every time it quits or reboots at CPU float test. Other benchmarks have the same effect, app crash or hard reboot.

My M9 Pro does not have this problem.
I tested it with October Stock, the last two kasty roms, Riley 2.1 and Finless 1.4+1.5.

This issue, from my experience, is related to a CPU instability/malfunction.
I think that (if you are not using overclocked/undervolted Kernels) your tablet have HW problems.

huh, That is very sad news. Since I'm not only one that have this problem maybe this is serial issue that PIPO should resolve? Warranty?!

Yes, you can ask for a warranty tablet repair/change

Of course you need to put on a stock rom...

                  Resets and AnTuTu

I have no issue with AnTuTu on my M9 Pro wifi - it runs fine all the way...
I guess that it is a CPU issue and probably a warranty matter (if you have it) that should be taken up with factory (or purchase place).

That sucks. I'll have to send the tablet all the way to China for a swap and not sure if they send a new one with the same issue, as I have a hard time they'll test it before sending it :| or if they replace it based on benchmark issues (even though it just rebooted 30 minutes ago while activating the Bluetooth)

This is why I didn't buy directly from China!
I bought mine from UK, so for any trouble I can send it back in UK and NOT in China!

So true, but I'm a really cheap bastard and wanted to save some cash.
The good news is that, last night I just upgraded to Riley's 2.5.2 KitKat and it finally finished the benchmark (so it might not be a CPU issue after all )
It also looks like the 4.4 is more stable and faster than 4.2 albeit being a beta one. Can't wait for a final version

I found I UK seller and i paid exactly the same as buying from China + customs duty!
So I think that there is NO reason to buy directly from China.

Out of curiosity, how much did you paid?
                            I bought it from pipo-store com for $222 + $25 shipping + $20 customs .. not a bad deal I would say.

The only downside would be the warranty :/
