MK908 Won't Work On Sharp LC-46D85U

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I have been using the MK908 for about 6 months and find it works great. I recently showed it to a friend who then purchased one with the upgraded Android 4.2.2.

The problem is when plugged into any of the hdmi slots in his Sharp LC-46D85U tv, only a black screen appears. I took my working MK908 over and same thing, nothing but a black screen. Both would work on an old Insignia tv he had.

I then took both MK908's back to my place and they both worked fine on my Sharp LC-60E77UN tv.

Reading posts, I have seen issues with Phillips tv's but haven't noticed any with Sharp. Also google hasn't been my friend either lol.

Once again thanks for any ideas.

I has a similar issue on my LG TV where sometime when I turn on my dongle I would only get static. The way I fixed it was to turn the TV off and on while the Dongle was booting.
