I think i bricked my T-R42
Hey Guys,
i feel really bad, but i think i just bricked my T-R42
since a few days i flashed the stock rom for PCB Version 2.0.
today i found lewy20041's thread with a new firmware for the 2.0 board.
so i first used the method which i used to flash the stock 2.0 rom.
i was extracting the update.img and put the boot.img, system.img and so on into a dummy update zip file i used for the stock 2.0 rom (found it somewhere in the net, couldnt find it anymore
).
i flashed that zip in the cwm.
it looked good so far, then it restarts.
but now i came into the android recovery system 3e, no android boot, no cwm, just this.
in this recovery system there was an entry where i can flash a rkimage from an external sdcard.
so i put the update.img of lewys rom onto the sdcard and flashed it with this method.
also looks good so far, but the flash was really fast and the screen turns off and the powerbuttonlight was red.
i waited some minutes, but nothing.....
now when i wanna start the box or just the recovery system, nothing appears on my screen.
the light on the box just shines blue and nothing more.
my windows just recognize an unknown device which cant be indentified.
i put out the powercable and waited some minutes to try it again, but nothing....
so i think i bricked it..
what can i do or is there someone in germany who can bring this box back to life?
