Eken T01 Firmware Error

    Eken T01 Firmware Error

    I bought Eken t01 tablet yesterday.I used for 15-20 minutes and leave it for charging.. When i get back after 3-4 hours later, i cant open tablet.It appears same screen always.. I decided to firmware uprgade and download .img file from eken's site. sd cart didn't work and i have started to do it with LiveSuit. I download it, and make the instructions. Select .img file, hold the volume buton, plug the usb cable and hold several times to power button. At this time, it must show me Yes/ No prompt. But not! i hear device connect sound but livesuit don't working! or my drivers are wrong.. Please help me..

    How can i reflash the ROM image?

    My Tablet is Eken T01..

    It hangs on Android Screen when i am try to open..

    According to the Futeko support page, the solution is,    to re-flash the firmware ROM image.



    How can i do this?

      This is not a polaroid tablet right? I think your posting to the wrong people as this is the polaroid forum.

          I will move this to "other" tablets for now.

          Do you have a link to manufacturer page and stock ROM download? What are the specs? e.g. processor, etc?

          I may be able to help.

          Did you flash a ROM to this that was not made for your tablet? Is that why it does not work now?

            i downloaded eken T01's firmware from eken's site.(www.eken.com) Actually, i dont know what the differents between Firmware and Rom..
            512 Mb DDR3 Ram
            Alwinner A10 Boxchip Processor.
            4GB Nand Flash
            wifi cam...etc..
            I did not flash any rom that was not made for my tablet.
            I charge it with 5.5 or 5.2 V charger. But its original chargers output is only 5 V. I leave it for 3-4 hours to charge. Then when i get, it was freezed..After 5-6 minutes, tablet has closed. And I can't open again..

              Sounds like you have a bad tablet. You should never charge with a different voltage than it was made for. I have a feeling your fried your tablet.

                  Well, bottom line is if you did not flash a ROM and are stock and the tablet does not work, then usually this is a hardware failure.
