brand new cx-919 screen keeps on blinking (black screen)

Hi,

I just bought the cx-919 and the screen keeps on flickering (shows black screen and then comes back to original screen every 15secs or so) if i am on the home screen (without doing anything) or using any software (e.g. chrome browser or even settings in android). Interestingly it doesnt flicker during playing a video (If playig youtube video etc, the video is played nicely and continously. (Device info: CX-919 ,android version 4.2.2)


Can someone pls help me in fixing the screen black flicker issue? Is this faulty device or some ROM issue?

Please try the follow, go to settings there to HDMI output mode and at it to the Resolution you want with 50 or 60 at the end.

One of this settings will make your Stick work with your TV.

Thanks for your reply. i have three settings available as below in hdmi mode:

1920*1080p-60 (current)
1280*720p-60
720*480p-60

I have tried all of them but the problem still persists.

may be custom rom

I am thinking to put custom rom. which one do u recommend and any link for latest rom and instructions will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
I have similar issues but only for 1080p-50 or 1080p-60.
But it works fine for 720p-50, 720p-60 and 1080p-24.
I tried a different HDMI cable but the same issue, regardless the FW.
So far I stay with wasser 1.2.4
