    Multiple users on M9Pro + RileyRom 2.1

I've just flashed my M9Pro to RileyRom 2.1 (thanks for the ROM!) primarily because I need to separate my kids from my accounts on the tablet...

The first additional account added OK, but subsequent accounts just get a black screen at login with the words "com.android.provision.DefaultActivity" in the top right corner.

The contents of the /data/system/users/* (apparently metadata for each user) and /data/users/* (home directories) appear identical between the directories.

What do I need to do to fix this?

(this is my first venture into Android territory so please be gentle with me...)

I think...based on symptoms...I may have a partial solution to that.

Let me work on it. Stay tuned for an update.

Btw...did you try the Finless ROM? It might solve it.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I will indeed stay tuned for updates.

I haven't tried the Finless ROM (it was a close call as to which I used) as I was hoping to just do a single flash and be done with it, and your ROM explicitly mentioned enabling multi user mode whereas the Finless ROM didn't.

I am an experienced Linux user and happy to just fix things up via a shell so that they work, if that makes it any easier for you.

If you need more info from me to help diagnose the problems, just let me know.

      thanks
      Andy
