ok I converted a dvd to mp4 and tried streaming from pc to mk808b and the video didnt show up, however I have another video in mp4 format and it shows up, so I'm wondering what it the best video format that will play whether stream or on the sd card>

Most formats should work. Maybe your problem is the player. Which one are you using? Have you tried MX player? or VLC player?
