OpenVPN doesn't work on MK808B

Hi , I am new user (newbie) here , just register.I purchase a MK808B mini USB.


I am having trouble installing an apk which I think it related with the ROM issue.Which ROM it was using ?


Having problem running Openvpn.
Openvpn for android https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....openvpn&hl=en
It said , there's TUN missing


So I install again Tun.ko
TUN.ko https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...nstaller&hl=en


After successfully installed , I try to connect and the mk808B device auto freeze and auto reboot.


I was wondering is it because of the custom ROM ? what kind of custom rom I am using now ?


I have another problem , once I click on setting->More->VPN , i was prompt by a password.

I remember I never key in any kind of password like it.How do I fix it ?

Iam having exactly the same problem

I used 'Tun.ko' to install the tun driver but all VPNs then cause a re-boot. I haven't installed a custom ROM, I am running 4.2.2 Any pointers would be appreciated

I had the same problem. To use vpn I installed vpnroot which lets you use the android vpn settings without the lockscreen required prompt.

Which TUN module did you load? This seems to be the real problem stopping us using virtually all VPNs

TUN.ko installed but when connecting using OpenVPN it freeze and reboot.

No Tun? The agony!

I thought I read on here somewhere that one of the earlier builds specifically included the tun module? I assumed it would be in 2.1. Looking for more information on this because the reason I went to this incredibly nice ROM was for that feature. What may end up happening is I put OpenVPN in the router (I have two) and then everything connecting to that router will be on the vpn by default. But that doesn't help much when I want to go off site with the MK.

I had to reflash and downgrade from finless 2.1 to 1.7 which contains tun.ko. open vpn now works fine.
