    Debloating rom and unshrinking ram

    After losing the phone.apk I wonder what else can be deleted? Is dialer.apk needed? Are there Bluetooth,GPS, camera drivers
    and apk s installed?

    Changed to another keyboard for cursor arrows, can I swap that with system version?

    Perhaps evolution will someday give us tiny fingers but I refuse to wait that long.

    I have warned a few times about removing phone stuff. I know some say it works find but you may find later issues.

    Here is a chart showing what can be removed and what should not.


    AccountAndSyncSettings.apk com.android.providers.subscribedfeeds no? Syncs settings to Google servers. Needed for Gmail app notifications.
    ADWLauncher.apk com.android.launcher yes ADW System Launcher. Only remove if you have a second replacement home.
    ApplicationsProvider.apk com.android.providers.applications yes? Fetches the list of applications installed on the phone to provide search suggestions.
    Bluetooth.apk com.android.bluetooth yes Bluetooth app
    BooksPhone.apk com.google.android.apps.books yes[1] Google Books application
    Browser.apk com.android.browser yes Internet BrowserPLEASE NOTE: This is apparently a hard-coded requirement for Google Voice Search (along with Talk and Voice); without it, Voice Search will FC after recognizing speech. Having Dolphin, etc., installed will not work.

In case of loss or theft the device can be reset to factory default remotely to prevent unauthorized acces.

        At the bottom of the chart should be a scroll bar. Sorry it wont fit in this web page format. But you can scroll left at the bottom.
