Which Version of XBMC ?? (hardware acceleration)

Hi guys, in regards to the CS918, it runs 720p and 1080P fine using external players.
But in XBMC it lags so much when trying to watch 720 or 1080p. It is unwatchable. I can only watch SD quality streams.
Im running Frodo 12.2 - I then upgraded to Frodo 12.3 - still same issue.

I heard there is a version of XBMC out there which has hardware acceleration and fixes the problem of 1080p lag. (stagefright?)
Do any of you guys know about this? Or can provide a download link?

    Thanks in advance !!

        Hi,

the best Xbmc version for my CS918 ist the JustXbmc Firmware

        with the v4 Update

scroll down the thread for the update justXBMCv4(app)

This is the only xbmc version that i have found with hardware hardware acceleration and Hdmi passthrough for Dts and Dolby.

But sometimes Xbmc crashes while playing videos without any visible error ...don't no why.

So, today i get my Intel Nuc (dual celeron), 4 Gb memory, Intel Hd video and 32 Gb Ssd drive.
With installed Openelec i can play everything without any problems.
These system is freaky fast. I can play these jellyfish testvideo with 120 Mbps without stuttering
        from my NAS.

So, now i have time to wait for a Android firmware / xbmc version that works like my new system

        Regards from Germany
        Gerd

          Small note: (about justxbmc fw)
There are 5 versions of the cs918.. And on most versions justxbmc firmware does not work well..
-make sure, what you have by checking PCB/motherboard.. Then check user feedback

Totally agree it works although still no DTS passthrough it says error on Audio but streaming works with no lag.
