MK809IV Custom rom??? NEOMODE 1.9a works great!!!

Can someone tell me which rom fits to my device. R-Box MK809IV RK3188, QC, Mail400MP4, 2GB ram,8 GB flash, wifi , bt. It has AP 6210 wifi chip.

Device is factory rooted and it has android 4.2.2 rom on it.
I want custom rom because videoplayback is not good like on some mk802iv devices i read about on this forum.
Please HELP. Video playback is very annoying.

Have your tried neomode 1.9a for the mk809III?

There not much difference between the two devices except maybe newer bluetooth at a glance and if doesn't work you can always flash back to stock.

Bricking these things nearly takes a hammer to do so there no real risk.

With a little luck it works and if bluetooth requires a updated drive iam sure neomode can make short work of that if you ask nicely.

I try neomode 19a and everything is OK. Everything works BT also. Little bit slower on antutu 16690 before I have 17002 but video playback is now excellent. Thanks for advice.

No reason it shouldn't be its the same wifi chipset as the MK809III model.

ivanrandjelovic There are other kernels for the neomode rom thanks to him which should improve your score if you wish and even a 1080p one.

Wifi is stable but signal is slightly weaker. My router is't the best so maybe that is reason. I watch 720p on xbmc and everything is ok also mkv from my home network without problems.

Yeah thats normal for this rom and nothing to worry about.

Two of the roms are overlcocked slightly and the last is 1080p.
For that device it should have no issues running any of them.


Rule of thumb though is if it works the way you want it then don't worry about a few points in benchmark scores.
As for wifi on these devices you need to be careful of electrical sources or objects in the way.
Since these things are plastic you can easily get interference from power cords and the like if they are close so adjust placement as needed.

I use the stock rom like your presently useing and it works fantastic.

One more question? Play store see this device as some phone right. Because for every app I want to install says "optimized for phones"? That's no big problem I just want to know. I should tell neomode to expand list of supported devices because mine works great and it's fully supported.

Yeah its spoofing the device name so more apps show then they normaly would.

hi i think i have your same device mk 809iv but whit 16gb ram, this one http://www.amazon.com/DIAOTEC-MK809I.../dp/B00GFLGX5O I tried flash many rom for mk 809iii but some bricked device, ( i had to flash whit pin7-8) and all other work good, except for net, wifi and bluethoot dont' work. i mean that when i switch on wifi or bluethoot it search but nothing, after some seconds it turn off. i dont' konw how to solve it, whit original firmaware it works but video at 720 was really very bad. Can you help me ? i haven't original firmware. thx

i tried firmware you suggest, flash finish ok,it dont' brick but mini pc dont' start, i need to reflash an other firware to be used.
i attach fotos of the board if not good to read say me which serial you need.
one foto is of the original firmware before flashing since some problems started to happen as you can see, 90 degree screen rotation and net stop working. after i flashed some rom all ok but net nerver more worked.

I have same device. I want to flash neomode 1.9a too but no idea how. Can someone point me to a step by step guide?
