    Ethernet adapter for M6Pro

    Hi,

Can anyone suggest which ethernet adapter will work on my M6Pro with RileyROM 1.6.1? Does the ROM matter to this or will any mini USB ethernet adapter do the job.

    Thanks

The Pipo site has a list of compatible Ethernet adapters.

Thanks, yes seen them. Rather than having to order and import from China I was hoping to find the list of which USB to ethernet adapter chips were supported by the M6. That way I can just order one from the UK.

I do remember seeing that list of supported ethernet chips before but can't find it anywhere at the moment.

I is working fine without installing any driver (close WIFI!) But he is very slow!
There is a KY-RD9700 chipset inside. This RD9700 chipset is USB 1.1 not 2.0!! That's why the speed is only 6Mbit!!
Look for adapters with the ASIX AX88772 chipset. They are using the full USB 2.0 speed!

Disable WIFI, enable ethernet then plug the adapter to the tablet. (plug and unplug several times if necessary - wait til the red LED starts flashing) or try with reboots.
My M9 pro with Finless Rom 1.5 recognized this adapter after 2 times unplug!

does not work, it is possible that the adapter is damaged

do you connect the adapter to the OTG-Cable or directly via micro USB-plug?

My idea was that you could have the problem because of a too short micro-USB plug (PIPO plugs must be 1,5-2,0 mm longer than usual)
Check the adapter function on a Windows or a Mac PC!
