From what I have read, the case comes with and the unit is already assembled. I suppose this is why it is sold as a TV box vs a Dev board. No remote or antenna provided though(has IPEX antenna connector).

Also from reading, the 16GB version has AC WiFi.

Geekbox and the Khadas may be kin.

1. Can this play h.265 1080p files without issues?
2. Will it be able to play HD video in linux?
3. On gearbest website "Maximum External Hard Drives Capacity: 64GB" So it won't accept 500gb, 1tb etc sized hard drives?

2. Yes, you can use buildroot to test this

So since this is being sold as a 'tv box' I'm assuming this will come this OS's pre-installed and basically be plug an play out of the box? Or is this like one of them raspberry pi kinda deals where we have to flash firmware ourselves etc?
