    Android 4.4 on rk3066

    Hi,
    I saw this video on youtube and I was wondering if anyone has more information about the upgrade of our rk3066 to android 4.4 ¿?

      The only obstacle to have KitKat running on a rk3066 device is the kernel. KitKat requires a 3.0.36+ kernel, there is a CM11 running on a rk3066, a BQ tablet.

      And it's made from a dev from your country.

        I do not understand you well...
        Currently I have a rk3066 with kernel 3.0.36+ and Android 4.2.2 (and stick-tv CX-803 JB 4.22 JDfense ROM 1.0 )


        What's the kernel limitation for Android 4.4 ?

          So the only thing left is compiling a 4.4 rom for you device

                I have found a Android 4.4 Version for a Pipo S1 Tablet. It has a RK3066 CPU.
                For wich Device you want it?

                      My device it's an android tv stick model cx-803 based on rk3066 dual core 1,6Ghz, GPU Mali 400MP with 1 Gb RAM and Wifi chipset Realtek RTL8189ES

                        If its possible for the Rikomagic MK802IIIS8G(B) its have 3.0.36+ kernel in the latest stock and You having much experience of it
