      Hi Peterborg,

if your PC does not recognize the TV box is because inside there is a jumper to enable and disable the "OTG" function.
If you raise the lid you can see, near the Connector USB OTG, a small ball of tin.
Unfortunately you need a soldering iron to remove this short.

To do recognize the TV box, you have to will perform the usual steps:
1- Insert USB cable (any one will do)
2- Press and hold the reset button.
      3- Insert the power.

After flashing the rom must restore that short.
Try it and let us know.

P.S. Peyoker thanks for sharing the rom.

        Screen rotation Fview U2

        Hello everyone,

I would have another problem on this TV box: I can not rotate the screen in portrait.
So far on the various versions of Android TV box as mk808 / 908 I've tried have always managed to find the solution.
Usually with buildprop I can rotate the screen properly with the correct sizing of the screen and icons.
But if I do this on Fview U2 happens that the desktop is not resized and then in practice I lose control.
So I can not do other than flash.
I believe that the original ROM was not cooked to handle the rotation.
I think the only solution is to find a rom that works on this device.
Also because, the menu that appears when you start, it's cute, but I would prefer the classic android.
I have already tried different rom for RK3188 but so far I have not found anything work.
If someone find let us know.
        Thank You.

Re small ball of tin near USB OTG port

Hello Stefano_it, would you be so kind as to indicate with photos which ball of tin I need to desolder because on my board there are two that are close to each other.

              Thanks once again.

                  Re jump to remove

Hello stefano it unfortunately that did not work for me. I tried many times but no success.

I guess I just have to throw it in the bin.

Or do you have any other solution.

                  Thanks

                    Hi Peterborg,
I'm sorry it did not work for you.
At this point I would say that if you take a picture maybe we can help.
                    Bye.

                        Hi Peterborg,

I'm sorry but I think there is still a bit 'of tin between the two points.
From the picture I do not see well, but I do not see a clean soldering.
Then it could be that the other side of the PCB, a little tin is poured and still make short circuit.
Try to completely dismantle the pcb and finally use a multimeter to measure the complete isolation of the two points.

I would ask the other members of the forum if anyone has found a rom alternative that works on this tv box.
                        Thank You.

Any news regarding compatible firmware? This box is pretty good with non existing support from a producer.
