Hello UM2 Owner´s,

It has taken a while, but now it is here. The first Custom Rom for the UM2.
First, I Wanne say thanks to Argos for Sponsoring me one Device.

What you get?
A Full Android 4.4.2 with Custom Kernel from d33. Thanks for this.
I had also had some OC Kernels if someone wants to try.

What Works:

-Bluetooth
-Wifi
-USB Ports

What not Works:
I have no Remote Control to Test please Test it.

Rom Features:
Rooted
Init.d Support
Added some Modules for External Sound and Lan Adapter

Software included:
Reboot App
No Frills CPU Control
FX File Explore
MultiLing Keyboard (Please set it as default Keyboard if not you have only Voice Input)
Google Home Launcher
Terminal Emulator

Kernel:
Custom Kernel from d33 with True FullHD.

What is the wifi module used on kernel?.. It will work on minix neo x7?..

No it will not work. Different Wi-Fi and not supported with this Rom.

Wifis perfect and the video playback with beyond xbmc is awesome.
So please with this.

With regards to the remote. It seems to work to a point. the arrow keys and return keys work but i cant seem to get function of the mouse to work on the remote.

I think he used my custom kernel.
Because this is the only that works

hey,

i've just installed the new rom. have to say - i am quiet disappointed.
my first impressions so far:

- keyboard. it was quiet a challange to switch to keyboard instead of voice input. cost me some nervs to be honest.

- with full hd screen mode i've the same problem with my sony tv like any other rom so far. the screen black outs i've to admin are only every 5-10 seconds. not every 2-3 seconds like the last one. but there is no 1024p mode which solve my problem the last time. now i've switched to 720p and its working fine. but my hope was to get full hd ...

- wlan is also not too good. had already 20Mbits at the exact same position. now i have 8-10Mbits

- the ok button on the remote is definitly not working. which makes it hard to use the remote at all.

now i am thinking about what to do. just want to use the stick for xbmc in my sleeping room. but with the flaws so far i am not sure if i should install everything and set up the xbmc to learn then i've to switch again ....


... what are your impressions?

After installing this firmware my UM2 unbootable.
Appears on the screen logo UGOOS further loading is not.
What could be the problem?

You must first erase idb than flash the rom.

Noticed a couple of bugs. Netflix has really poor quality now. Does it maybe think its on a smaller screen? Also the rockchip remote i use to control the tv box goes very slow. Its like the cursor is delayed. Everything else works great though

UM2 does not work at 1600 and above

My stick works with this rom, but with a different kernel (1400MHz) .
Concluded that my stick does not work as well with other firmware with CPU frequency 1600 and above.
What could be the problem?

Hello,
i am using this rom, and d33 4.1 stick kernel on a mk908ii T and its all good, the only problem i have is that screen scale dosen t save after reboots. is any fix for this ? or ..like to edit a file with root explorer or something to fix it? thx in advance
