I did this and the Parameter file was too large for my R28 Pro. You need to use the 4 GB or 6GB parameter file in Rockchip Tool. Follow the instruction Read Me in the Firmware files. My R28 is very stable and fast the best rom so far.

Yes, I did it and it was working.
But I had a lot of problems within Kodi 16. All videos was stuttering and buffering.

So I'm going to wasser 3.0rc3 and all is working fine, whether the menue-structure is very slow. (slower as raspi2)

When playing AC3 audio there is only loud noises.
Under settings I check "use old ffmpeg to support AC3/DTS", rebooted but still, there is no sound.
Could you test video with AC3 please? How to fix it?

It booting and IR remote is working. I have just replace the boot.img file whit that from 2.2.0 from post #1
I had no time yesterday to more tests.

Whit 2.2.0 I have no DTS and Dolby Sound over HDMI. Only noise

Just flashed 2.2.1b with boot.img from 1st post.
There is less micro stutters, but when the box get stucked after some time.

Did you upgrade from 2.2.0 or did clean install?
