RK3368 - True octa-core November Update

Hello Shomari and readers,

I just installed your rom on my CHinese R68 box, everything seems to work except two things, 1st lan ethernet not working (wifi does work out of the box), and 2nd remote doesnt work. I would like to continue using your rom, and hope to sort these two issues. I'll upload the stock rom the seller of the box send to me, please help me out. Thanks in advance.

This firmware would probably work for the other boxes that use 8723bs wifi. Thanks for the link. I have an update ready, but the firmware doesn't have a reboot function. Many improvements but still without a reboot function; I might just put it out and let others take over from there. I just don't know of any way to solve the lack of reboot without breaking the cpu hack.

You can release the December update for the Z4 RK3368 true octa core firmware if all else is OK. Thanks. Seldom use Reboot anyway. I don't even use Poweroff if I don't have anything to save. Just turn off from the wall switch. .

I use now a stock firmware from april, I got it somewhere in a china site... I try the ftmc from superceleron and the rk acceleration not works ( going to box menu when you trying to open stream movie). Also, even is fast, the video never been smooth, only with one old version of kodi.

Is this image ok for my box? Can I try to update it? I need some tool or can update simple way by usb or memory card?

As long as you have the stock image you can recover if it doesn't work. You need tools to flash the rom via usb. The linux upgrade tool can be found here. https://github.com/geekboxzone/mmall...x_Upgrade_Tool

Before your message (thank you) unfotunatily, I rename the image file to (update) and from the back usb with a stick I install this rom. Now the box working well, but only the play store google apk cannot open. I trying to unistall it but is as system apk and not have this option. I trying to update the apk, but it cannot accept the update version. Also, as I see, some others apk's cannot install.

Thanks God, the box got the ftmc (version20) by super celeron and I setup then well. With the rk acceleration on, now working amazing and the videos are smooth.

I have to ask and I am sorry if I bothering you, do you know how to check the cores in to the box? Is out there a apk for this job?
Is this firmware unroot? Because it is strange to not let me to unistall the playstore apk.
How can update playstore? How can make a google account? (now when I am trying, to create, nothing happening even I push the option.)

It was wrong to install the rom with this way? and thas why I have that problem? or is a rule or bug from firmware?

So, Somary, I have to say that I must go to stock firmware, because the button not working, the playstore (everthing where have to do with google like youtube without google account) not working and finaly, the ftmc apk is very slow even the rk acceleration working well. I think have to do, with the time where have also problem. I read that you have already fix all problems expect the button fuction, but as you say, you will not give us the fix firmware. If you read my post and you have a link, send to me a message before test the stock, to test your fix rom if you want. Thanks for your work (I please you to tell us, all the different thinks where you done from the stock to custom rom. As I see with the litle things where I know, the only problem with stock rom, is the clocks of the proccerors. Is something else more?

When I ll test the stock and the rk codec working I will stay to that.

Thanks! Your resources.img fixed the ap6330 wifi, however unindended was the fact that it worked to begin with. :-D
