Hi , Installed this ROM and having issues with VPN not working. I can connect with OpenVPN but IP remains my local instead of VPN. Is there a fix for this ?I read on Minix forum other people was having the same issue

can make the compatible kernel with wifi rtl8723bs, works very well less the wifi in my mk809iv with rk3188t

I tried to change bootanimation.zip to minix and x7 did not boot (wasser 3.0.6). we removed bootanimation.zip and again did not boot again. why??

I don't think it's possible. RK3188 does not support USB-host (regardless of what Lollipop does). Also, the S/PDIF output is limited to 48kHz even though the device supports sample rates up to 192kHz.

Most likely but you'll lose BT and WiFi due to different hardware.

iam a owner of a x7 from the beginning and iam still in love with it....yes iam xD
i know there a lot of better devices out there right now but is till want to use my lovely x7 because a) i only got fullhd and i dont want 4k right now so x7 is enough and b) x7 is every i need ;D

my setting is :

1. NAS->asus router->nfs->wlan->minix thats for the data (adio/whatever)
2. Minix x7 (spotify/data from nas like flac whatever)-> hdmi -> pioneer vsx 921k -> canton sl 850 dc -> 2.0 so stereo only
so id like to hear goooood music with goooood soundquality ;D

now my problem:
i want to have bit-perfect or maybe 96khz audio output ...just for stereo..nothing more.
i know openelec and linux have nice usb-dac support and rockchip does not.
but as far as i know from android 5 and higher there is usb-dac support for android.
so my question is if someone has managed to get 96 khz or maybe 192 khz ..maybe in 16 or 24 bit

wassers rom is lollipop..so maybe there must be a way.

Hello I was very happy to see the new lollipop rom for the ancient x7. It runs so smooth. Thanks wassar.

I am having the netflix issues though. Worked first day but now only error 0013. Reflashed, unrooted, tried dozen Netflix versions.

Anyone think this can be fixed?

As I think, this is a best firmware for Neo X7! It works quickly and stable. And no trash and advertising apps.
But spdif passthrough not work :-(

Netflix no longer working for me after a couple of weeks. Nothing changed, nothing updated, just started with error 0013 again. Back to square one

Netflix working for me :-)

From a fresh wasser 3.0.6 rom ie no superSU (remove superSU from within app if you have it)

1 enable developer mode and turn off root access, reboot
2 download netflix 4.16.1 from e.g. Apkmirror
3 launch netflix, might error 0013 the first time, but then works 100%. A reboot after install and first launch also helps
