HELP! I think I damaged my X7

OK, this is a SS after I installed the firmware (the original one). Last time I wasn't waited several minutes after the process. Now I installed again the firmware and I am waiting for the X7 to reboot or something. There are already 5 minutes passing and the TV screen is still black.
The X7 is still connected via USB cable to my pc. Shall I unplug it or the firmware update is going to happen sometimes today?

It says restore success so it's done!
If you still have a black screen then try another HDMI cable. If that's not it then either something is up with your TV or your box is bad on HDMI output.

I just tried to install the KitKat ROM and something went a bit crazy in the process. Ended up in the same kind of state you are in.
When trying to run a stock installer to get back to a working machine i noticed that it would show as connected for a couple of seconds then it disconnects. While messing about i found that keeping the power button pressed in lets the installer run through the process. Then it failed at the end when trying to check the download.
I then tried it without pressing the button and this time it didn't disconnect so i ran the stock 008 build installer and it kicked it back into life and installed fine (thankfully)
Hope this helps, certainly got me from a dead looking box to now having KitKat installed and running better than ever

Make sure the correct drivers are installed/available on your system, connect the X7, press and hold the recovery button and then press and hold the power button.
Keep both buttons pressed the whole time and wait for windows to recognise the device. Now try to flash a new firmware/recovery using the official Minix tools/FW(And don't release the buttons! A bit tricky, but doable)
I got my device back to work again on this way. (And I'll never try the crappy FW by 'wasser' again :P )
