I think its released on april-may 2013. Its not even a year i have bought it. But still cant use it stable.

Beelink's Beta kitkat rom worked great except color and safe mode issues. If they want, they can resolve that problems.

If they dont give support anymore, and we cant use it stable because of firmware, then i suggest everyone;

do not buy MK908.

it is not recommended to buy this anyway, as it never went totally stable. sure, it can be kind of semi stable, but occassionally it reboots, wifi disconnects and bluetooth makes wifi slow or unusable.

I get good use out of my MK908 but only because of finless bob 1.8 rom which is JB 4.2. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. The MK908 hardware offers a lot of bang for the $$ and I think kk 4.4 rom is viable on this device. I am still optimistic a 4.4 rom in in the future of this device.

dont get me wrong, it works for me as well and it is ok for the $, but the issues i listed are there despite of using finless 1.8

Beelink/Geekbuying issued a beta Kit Kat 4.4 for MK908 device in Dec 2013/Jan 2014 and since then (6months ago) nothing.
Tried all the 4.2.2 roms currently available for the MK908 device and all have some problems causing heat issues, rebooting or crashing the device or not playing video properly and even some MK908 ROMs cannot be installed.
Even RKM have recently issued an official 4.4 Kit Kat ROM for their device.
Tronsmart/Beelink seem to have moved onto their next gen products, and for a long time seem not to be interested in supporting the MK908 anymore which is indicative of how they treat the customers who bought their devices (anyway it seems they have complicated their product with their V1, V3, V5 devices and then the T1 chip causing lots of complication all for 1 only one device model)
Me too, I have moved onto Minix and Hi media and now have an overall better experience with these products in functionality, stability and support.
I personally will never invest in a tronsmart or beelink product ever again.

MK908 is still selling on market i see it everywhere, but customers don't know its not stable and out of support.

I will never buy a Tronsmart / Beelink product again.

Even MK809II get the kitkat but still nothing for MK908 ...
