CS918 or CS918s

Which one is better for xbmc? Both are quad cores. The 918 has the rk3188 and the 918s has the allwinner a31.

Wierd..
In your first post.. you state ordering a CS918S
And now you ask...

Anyway..
There are many revisions/versions of the cs918, it a gamble what you get
If you are lucky..
Then you can choose many firmwares/kernels on freaktab to test (like kitkat)
If you are unlucky..
No choose.. but the stock firmware.. and the hope.. that it runs stabile or till somebody makes a custom rom
If you are a tweaker..developer
Then rk3188 devices are a good choose.. lots of tools and source code

The CS918S is quite good.. out of the box ( the pre-installed xbmc does not work.. just remove it/replace it with SPMC)
But there are currently no custom roms.. (yet)
Time will tell if it ever gets upgrades

Both run xbmc.. quite good.. these days
(cs918 hat some problems in the past,but even the stock fw have improved quite alot )

I did order the cs918s, I have a bunch of co workers who are interested and I know I can get the cs918 for about $30 less than the cs918s. I wanted people to weigh in to decide which one will be better value.
