I think that has slightly different wifi. I can build a variant if you want?

Also I can build test builds at 1.7 and 1.8 GHz if there is interest?

Wooooo dude THANK YOU SO MUUUUUCH

1.6GHz and my dongle is cold after MKV movie HD 720p !!!!

I try the 1080p later but all seem to be good excepted I have to tweak my lost wifi connection at first boot(password).

    Nice logo Android TV

    GK525 here RK3188T

Yep, it shows rk3188t and cpu is on 1.6ghz (with original kernel it was on 1.2 if I remember correctly)
AnTuTu score on 720p is 18200

Do you think heat is a problem with this clock speeds? Don't have a custom heat sink and don't want to burn my device

Will also test 720p and wifi speed later.
Thanks for your work d33, really appreciate it

I just noticed that official Rikomagic web page (www.rikomagic.com) is constantly updating the specification of their devices. The last one is real curious:

    Rockchip 3188 Quad core, 28nm, 1.4GHz , Up to 1.6GHz,Cortex-A9

Correct, the sources used by JB custom devs pre-date the T chip and so don't limit frequencies. The commercial companies have newer source that does limit

    Orginal Model T design

BTW I found the original Model T built video tutorial.

Of course the original kernel is a bit faster than the one in the Rockship fake Model T.

It's just for the more techie out there that want to test the DMESG detection / override functions.

The kernel itself is equivalent to the one in Bob's Kitkat Beta ROM 2.0, so MK908 etc compatible.

If you are already running KitKat then just flash this kernel on, read the DMESG, check the CPU range, report back on here and then, if this kernel doesn't match your kit, flash back to your 'normal' kitkat kernel.

    This is for experiment only.
