Please post the DMESG from the 1.6 build. As a reward I might build you a 1.6 override with faster RAM

    Hi d33,
I have just finished my test.

    kernel_18_override
    1)Boots
    2)<6>[ 0.736515] CPU is ROCKCHIP RK3188T
    3)<4>[ 0.735423] DVFS MSG: core: dvfs_adjust_table_lmtvolt get leakage_level = 6000
    4)<4>[ 14.829212] Mali: mali freq table :Mali: 128,Mali: 179,Mali: 223,Mali: 297,Mali: 297,Mali: 446,Mali:
    5)<6>[ 2.075935] ddrfreq: normal 456MHz video 0MHz video_low 0MHz dualview 0MHz idle 0MHz suspend 198MHz reboot 222MHz
    6)1200-1608
    Total AnTuTu result was 19410
    GPU 986+3615

    kernel_15_override_RAM
    1)Boots but hungs up
    2)???
    3)???
    4)Mali: 128,179,223,297,297,446
    5)???
    6)1200-1512
    kernel_16_LV_override_RAM
    1)Starts to boot>Google TV>Finless bootanim...>Out of synch
    kernel_17_override RAM
    1)Starts to boot>Google TV>Finless bootanim...>Out of synch
    kernel_18_override_RAM
    1)Starts to boot>Google TV>Finless bootanim...>Welcome>Out of synch>Out of synch
    kernel_18_override_extreme_RAM
    1)Starts to boot>Google TV>Finless bootanim...>Nothing or out of synch

Turning back to the firs point and flashing kernel_18_override, but
    1)Starts to boot>Google TV>Out of synch
Flashing FinlessKitKatROM+his kernel again, setting up KitKat, changing the kernel to your kernel_18_override
    1)Starts to boot>Google TV>Out of synch
Only one time from 20-30 attempts managed to run AnTuTu and saw cpu 312-1416???
Then out of synch all the time.

I'm sorry that my device has failed the test but I hope at least it's still alive

Can you post your DMESG for the standard kernel if even this doesn't work and we can add your result/leakage level to the list.

    Ta!

    Why?

The desktop SHOULD just rescale. My kernel has Rockchip's faulty EDID fixed so it should read your TVs capability. So on my TV it presents a 1920x1080 desktop to my TV at 1080p60. On a TV that can 'only' do 720P60 (50) then it should scale the desktop to the HDMI.

If it doesn't then let me know and I'll build more but it shouldn't be necessary. Certainly not for this quick test.

"loader mode" ? you mean like I do for installing other kernel with romflashtool and kernel selected only ?

Just reflash a known working kernel using "LOADER" mode

If you are not comfortable doing this then I recommend not. Play safe!
