Is someone able to make a new Rom with the given image or even tell me if theres already a compatible KitKat Rom for my Devic

OK, if you think this updated firmware is the actual one for your tablet, I will go to work on a custom ROM for you. I've downloaded it, so we will give it a try.

For now, I will use the generic CWM Recovery. In my ROM's, the CWM Recovery is installed automatically after the tablet boots the first time. This allows stock recovery to format all of the partitions correctly. We can test that...if it doesn't work, we can try the one you are talking about.

Give me a couple of days. I'm working Friday and Saturday...but I'm at the firehouse on Saturday and will have time to work on this.

I will also get our art director, Tattman65 to make some custom boot screens for this tablet.

I'm still not clear on the actual name of the tablet, though. Please clarify that for me, so I know what to ask Tatty to put on the screen. And the actual resolution is 1366x768? That's an odd size.

Is yours a Ventos or a Xiron?

Is the brand SurfTab or TrekStor? Or both?

None of them. It is called Volktablet (we think its is quite the same as xiron but the display is IPS 1366x768). The brand is definitely Trekstor and I'm 100% percent sure of the given update. I flashed that one. I'm looking forward for your ROM.

I've another question. Will you be able to add sixaxis support? When I download the compatibility checker it is saying that my device is compatible. After the first connection it never will do it again. I don't understand where the problem is. It works fine for the first time and after it there is no chance to reconnect the joystick over Bluetooth. With a cable its supposed to work but that is not the best way to use it. Do you have any idea where the problem is? Thanks in advice.

Sorry, if I annoy you with my question I've another one. Which tablet version is the one I own? Is it a rk 30 or a rk3188? I can't really define which one it is. The device info is showing different states, maybe you are able to tell me which one I own. It is not so important but I'd like to know more specific things acoording to my version. I'm quite interested in learning more about android and the different versions of the tablets. When you got time for an answer I'd love to learn some facts. Thank you again. I know its hard to provide some answers according to have no hardware lying in front of you.

I'm not familiar with Sixaxis. I don't know what it does. I just can't respond to that question.

So far...the information you are giving me...and the information on the site is too vague for me to tell. If it is dual core, it's 3066...if it's quad core, it's 3188.

These are the facts I found. Maybe there are more to go. Six axis is BTW an app which provides support for the controller of the PS 3 which is connected over the Bluetooth of the system. I didn't get why it's able to connect at first and then fall into death. But that's okay you don't need to know it. Thanks for answering my question

Is this going to help? Is there shown which hardware is used in my tablet? Like I said I'll try to provide as much information as I can, but I've to know what's helpin' and what's only trash? If its OK I post some screens of which I think they probably important. I want to support you in the best way I'm able randy, because you spend your time for me and the German community.

Here is a beta ROM for you to test. If it boots and runs OK on your tablet, I will get Tattman to make a set of boot screens, and we can polish it off a little more.

This ROM is:

Rooted
Init.d Support added
CWM recovery installed automatically, after first boot
Busybox commands added
Google Play Store fixes added

Just follow the directions in the First Time User's Guide, included in the zip file.

Do you have a backup of your current firmware? Maybe you should make a ROM dump of it before you flash, so you can have something to go back to if this ROM doesn't work on your tablet. You seem quite confident this is the right ROM, but I'm not completely sure.

I can send you instructions on how to make a ROM dump, if you need it. It might come in handy.

I flashed it right away. Its booting right now. In about 10 Minutes i´m going to tell you more. Thank you so much. I´m so amazed.... I know how to flash because i did it when i git my first android device i´m kinda PC-Junkie

Ok, it is booted. Wow, thats finde i dont know exactly what you did but the boot performence and startup time is much increased. Thank you so much for this one. Maybe we are able to delete some more apps? To clean it up from scratch? Thank you so so much.

But i´m not sure about CWM because the old Recovery formated the /data an /cache. I´ll try to rebbot in Recovery or didn´t i get it right?
