I try to flash the img on my Jynxbox Hd m3 the image and i get the error message
"E:signature verification failed"
Pls help

That's not possible. I removed any assertion scripts from my edify installer script.
Your doing something wrong with what your putting on SDcard.

FYI I did NOT remove the device check from the SPI update because this can cause bricking. So if your getting an error on that update, then skip it. But this means you do not have correct device possibly or you have another ROM that changed build.prop device ID.

I can flash the last oem jynxbox update with no problem

That is very odd. You have the exact same boot loader and recovery version I have on my box!
I just tested my ROM again and I do not get a signature verification error.

Let me download my ROM and make sure the zip is not corrupted.

OK I just downloaded my ROM and checked it. It works for me.

Only thing that would cause a signature failure is you have somehow corrupted the finless14.img.
Or possibly your SDcard file system is bad and when you copied it to sdcard it got corrupt. FAT32 is not very reliable! Never just unplug a fat formatted sdcard from your PC without ejecting it using windows file manager or the file system may get messed up. It's very common.

Try reformatting your SDcard and try it again.

awsome work and the boot animations i love it. Thanks for giving it a new breath of life..... i can actual run beyond on it and its slow but video flawless i hope this is same with the new amilogic chipsets ill be a happy camper if it is!!!!!

Of the jynxbox products I have the M6 is the best in my opinion.
Is has the new NAND format and just is faster by far.

Hi Bob, thanks for that info, thought myself already that jynx m6 was slight better than jynx HD looking at the specs. But when looking at jynxbox official site it seems like the android HD is the newer model and the m6 is not even mentioned anymore, seems strange to me. And it looks like the m6 is hard to get at this moment. I previously ordered 2 pcs and they indeed worked very well, especially with your ROM installed, thanks for that BTW. But I gave one to my parents and one to my sister, since I am still using the good old atv2 that is doing his job still well. But I need to buy a box for my bedroom and I really want a amlogic box, since it looks like they handle the streams very well. The geniatech atv520e mentioned in the same post of you of the jynxbox m6, does that one use the same nand structure as the m6 you mentioned?

Not able to install Finless ROM on original G-box Midnight MX (AML8276-M3 device)

I had the same problem and haven't been able to install the finless14.img on my G-box Midnight MX (AML8276-M3 device) . The Midnight recovery does not read any .img and only accepts .zip files.

I want to install this Finless Rom since no other Android Rom works fast enough on the original Midnight MX. Right now I'm using the community build STTV Linux Build Release 4 (version 5 have a problem resetting settings occasionally so don't use it) and it is super fast and XBMC works like a dream. It have put new life and made the Midnight box a great XBMC box when it almost was dead and unusable to do Matricom abandoned it with an Android release that wasn't working. The problem is that since it is Linux just for XBMC you loose the ability to add Android Apps (Netflix, vGet, etc.) so you will need another device to do that. Like I said, the Linux build works like a charm, flawless but you sacrifice some features going from Android to Linux.

@ Finless - Is there a way to open the .img so that I can make a .zip of the content. If not, a way to burn it to an sdcard or usb to update Midnight. I have tried to open and mount the .img on my Mac but it can't read it. I included an image of the .zip and the files that are included on a typical G-box Midnight Android update or Linux Rom package.

The .img is a zip nothing more. Rename it to zip and you will see you can open it.
