There are a lot of clones with different chipset, And is difficult to cover all of them, d33 is making a great work trying to support most of the devices with KitKat kernels, but if CS968 (rev.V3) is not supported yet, try to offer him more data about your device, like WiFi chips you used and maybe if he request it a gpio dump.

And the extra dcdc1 split the power for the usb/ac power?

I've passed on a kernel to JDfense direct for testing. In fact I sent two, the first only does LDO6 change the second hopeful aligns both voltages.

I'm not sure what difference it will make as Leolas seemed to think LDO6 was a wifi control pin.

Anyhow I notice this box appears to have a built-in camera (sp2518) is that correct?

Yes, it is the sp2518 2 megapixel and the sp5640 for the 5 megapixel version. I have the 2 megapixel version.

DMESG of the v3 testkernel is coming soon, when I get a stable booted system.
hdmi switch on and off with flickering.

hdmi is working only on 720p stable with flickering. Screenzoom is not adjustable and screen is wrong in place, so I couldn't get on all screen buttons. Thats why I need so long for a dmesg file.
