Latest nightly xbmc didn't work well for me and i couldn't get mashup addon installed. It may have been config files that i hadn't deleted properly, as the box came with JustXBMC on it which stopped working after a power outage. I also tried the latest Vidon-XBMC which was the same.
So i determined to update to latest rom.
However, when Mitchell replied to my query, I downloaded the new frmware and prepared to instal.
Then i downloaded the Semper xbmc and decided to try it out first just to see, before the rom update.
It worked straight away, so i loaded mashup onto it, let it read in my video and music libraries from my network and its done so well i never bothered to update the rom yet!
Lazy me!
I will do the rom sooner or later, but as it ain't broke, no point in fixing it.
I really would like to find a rom that would allow me to give a fixed hardware address (MAC) to the ethernet, and to boot the box straight onto the ethernet with wireless switched off.

I try vidon.me 1.0.8 and semper xbmc and both crash's at run... I'm using 1.0rev3 firmware, so I just need to make my cs918s run mkv,1080p runs with subtitles...
Appears the the original vidon.me have a bug on subtitle support...
That's very sad, and any other video player runs 1080p videos without lost some frames, because they don't have hardware acceleration...
I removed them all: justxbmc, official xbmc, vidon.me, and also the xbmc data folder (well i cleared everything in it)
Path to folder is: Android/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/files/.xbmc/userdata/
then powered off to clear cache etc.
How can I find the updates or semper/xbmc... If in future out new releases of this app?
One more question: its good to update the device to 1.2 version? What's the news between 1.0 and 1.2? Thanks
