Well put this way, we need you onboard & continue to push foward bro. If you think about it just about anybody can make a pc do something it wasn't intended to. To make android work properly takes more patience. You got yours to work for your needs & I give you kudos cause most people just give up.

I think the problem to be honest is quality of components & lack of proper cooling. My first android stick was $34,,,, you couldn't even buy a good microsoft mouse for that price. After buying another stick I got my first android set-top box (MX2) & I had to modify the sucker cause it would freeze on me after a few hours because of heat issues.

I think the future of android as far as good media boxes lies within the set-top box world because the sticks just don't cut it.

Agreed about sticks. My first android TV was a mk818b, rk3088 running 4.1. It worked great, never rebooted, locked up or crashed. But got bored with it. Purchased a T428 stick, rk3188, a piece of s**t. Purchased a TV01 (cs968), much better, but not perfect. Trying to wring all I can out of it. Waiting for that quad core amlogic, NO MORE ROCKCHIP. These boxes have great potential. The firmwares suck, and yes they need to improve upon their passive cooling. NO FANS.
