Sorry guys I have been too damn busy the last few days. I will get to it. And no it doesn't have a hardware check. I left the assertion check in the edify script that installs the ROM. It checks build.prop and needs to be a certain thing. Easy to remove.

OK new beta 1.1 ROM is uploading now. I also found a bug in my AML auto script that is probably why some never saw recovery do anything

I removed the assertion script so this should install on ANYTHING so be careful. I am not flashing your bootloader so you should not hard brick.

Should be up in about an hour.

I fixed AML auto script so it should work.

sorry for stupid question, but I'm new to these android boxes. I got a generic MX box (g18ref). Do I have to worry about my current build or mtd or board version, or can I just flash this without a problem? Obr because it is a new rom, then all that gets updated and it doesn't matter?

Thanks so much for turning your attention to these MX2 boxes. I've used on of your ROMs on a Minix X5 and truly appreciate the great work you do.

I tried this ROM on y MX2 clone, after having used the ROM at this post to make it compatible with Matricom updates: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost...stcount=12

Unfortunately, whether I use the Matricom 1.16 ROM or your ROM from this thread, the box always shows zero internal memory remaining. Do you have any clue as to why this might be, or what I might do to fix it?

I need a favor from anyone here, I modified the mx 2 firmware by just adding more apps to be installed when the room is installed. Now I have the rom folder and need to zip it so I can install it on my units.

I was looking for signapk for the midnight mx but couldn't find anything.

Can anyone please provide me a tool to repack the firmware.

Watching...I'm looking to do this also for the MX2 unit. Add some pre-loaded apps and pre-configured XBMC with specific addons.

Your remote must be different than the ROM I made this from. Should be easy to fix though as I just need the files for your remote.

Please try this. Flash your ROM that works with your remote.
Then using ES File explorer copy out the remote.conf from /etc
Now flash my ROM and copy that file into /etc replacing the one in my ROM.

If that works for you I will make a simple small update.zip to add that file to my ROM for others.
